Taking it all in

There has been an obscure transparency filling the days in the last few weeks, seasons are moving and I am trying to fit them into some linear system of colour nomenclature. Brown soon blossomed white flurries, yellows turn over and over in every shade and now every colour. Muted purples at dusk, summer plumage, static blue arched skies and the hues of pinks in the meadows and inflorescent purples along path ways and between grasses- bugs, beetles, insects on the wing I never knew, how in 25 years have I not recognized you? The essence of the world is so rich outside, the song of birds their relay from forage to nest this essence so overwhelming I have to pause for a moment take a breath so indulgent on the senses.
